Ingredients

Strawberry Syrup

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

Strawberry Margarita Sangria

  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 750 milliliters chilled white wine (read our recommendations for white wine in the blog post)
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries sliced

Instructions

Strawberry Syrup

  • Combine strawberries, water, and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth. Strain through a mesh strainer and allow to cool completely.

Strawberry Margarita Sangria

  • In a large pitcher, combine the triple sec, tequila, lime juice, cooled strawberry syrup, and white wine. Give it a light stir. Add in the strawberries and serve.
