The Walk Me Down cocktail is not for the faint of heart or the faint of taste buds. It’s boozy, bold, and blue thanks to the combination of multiple liquors (five to be exact) including blue curacao. Similar to a Long Island Iced Tea but with a more citrusy flavor, it’s also known as an Adios, Motherfucker and packs a punch!

With its numerous spirits and strong alcohol composition, a Walk Me Down is similar to a Long Island Iced Tea. What separates the two is the addition of blue curacao and lemon lime soda instead of coke and triple sec, giving the cocktail a more citrusy flavor and bright blue color!

Walk Me Down Ingredients

While the list of ingredients may seem lengthy, you probably have most of them already. And we promise it will be worth it. We give you some other ideas for great cocktails you can make with many of the same ingredients-consider them bar staples! Here is what you need to make a Walk Me Down:

  • Tequila
  • Vodka
  • White Rum
  • Blue Curacao
  • Gin
  • Simple Syrup
  • Lemon Juice
  • Lemon Lime Soda (such as 7Up or Sprite)

How to Make a Walk Me Down Drink

Get ready to pour! Grab a glass and fill it with ice, then add equal parts (about 1/2 ounce) of your quality tequila, vodka, white rum, blue curacao and gin. Then add about an ounce of both simple syrup and lemon juice. Last but not least, top with lemon lime soda, stir and enjoy!

How to Serve

We like our Walk Me Down’s served with lots of ice and a lemon garnish. A large glass tumbler will be perfect to hold all of the ingredients with room to stir.

Variations

Try one (or all!) of these fun variations! You’ve got the basics when it comes to ingredients, a few simple modifications and you’ll have yourself a completely different yet equally yummy cocktail.

  • Long Island Iced Tea– swap out the lemon lime soda and blue curacao for a 1/2 ounce triple sec and a topper of coke
  • Tokyo Iced Tea– follow the Walk Me Down Recipe but instead of blue curacao, add Midori.
  • Long Beach Iced Tea-leave out the 7Up and instead of blue curacao, add triple sec. The secret ingredient? A splash of cranberry juice!

I know this is most likely a long shot question to revive an answer for but here goes, a few years ago my husband and I went on one of our date nights, we went out to eat and then to see a movie. While waiting on our food I ended up ordering a drink ( alcoholic beverage of course) I’m not a drinker or go to bars very often etc so I didn’t really know what to order it what is like so my husband ordered for me and boy did he order the most perfect drink ever! The problem I’m having is I can’t seem to remember what it was I can not remember. My husband is now passed away so I obviously can’t ask him anymore…. I do remember this however, it was a pinkish like color, the waiter came to the table we were at and I remember him shaking in a tall glass with a lid and then poured a bit in to my glass after drinking that one I was wanting another and he did the same thing except he left it there for me to put as I wanted/needed . So I remember it was a pinkish color was on the sweeter side but not too sweet the rate of alcohol want just terribly strong tho you could tell it was in there it didn’t to my knowledge have any leaves or garnished with any thing like that in it or around the rim Soo idk y’all I will most likely never be able to have this question answered, I was I said do not drink very much and know basically nothing about mixed drinks at all other than vodka and oj I know nothing lol if you think you might know what it was or maybe was let me know the name of the drink and the recipe for it that way I can maybe either make it myself or order it when I am out somewhere some time and I ever do find the correct drink I’ll definitely let you know what my mystery drinks name was! Thank You in Advance

Was it creamy? Or could you see through it?

These are all shaken drinks below.

A woo woo is pink and see through and sweet.
A Pink Lady also pink, but a little more creamy since it has an egg white in it. Also not able to see though.
A Pink Squirrel is sweet, creamy and not able to see though. One of my faves.

      Hope this helps!
