Cactus Cooler Shot Ingredients

Just four ingredients are required for this fun-to-take shot recipe. Summer flavors with a dose of caffeine, the perfect blend to keep the party going! Grab these refreshing ingredients to make this bomb recipe today.

  • Mandarin vodka: Part one of the citrus liqueurs in this recipe. If you cannot find mandarin vodka, you can use another citrus flavor such as orange or citron.
  • Peach schnapps: Part two of the citrus liqueur deliciousness, peach schnapps is a staple on our bar cart.
  • Orange juice: Just a splash in the pint glass to balance the red bull.
  • Red Bull: Use a chilled energy drink for the most refreshing shot experience. If you use an energy drink other than Red Bull, know that the flavor of your shot will change.

Cactus Cooler Shot Recipe

  • Fill half of a pint glass with Red Bull and a splash of orange juice.
  • In a shot glass, combine the peach schnapps and mandarin vodka.
  • Drop the shot glass into the pint glass and drink immediately.

How to Serve

There are three ways to enjoy this shot:

  • Traditionally, the shot glass of liquor is dropped into the pint glass and drank quickly (be careful not to chip a tooth).
  • Pour the liquor right into the pint glass, skipping the shot glass.
  • Take the shot of vodka and Schnapps and chase it with the Red Bull orange juice mixture.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 ounce mandarin vodka
  • 3/4 ounce peach schnapps
  • splash orange juice
  • 1/2 pint Red Bull or similar energy drink

Instructions

  • Fill half a glass with the energy drink and add a splash of orange juice to it.
  • In a shot glass, pour the mandarin vodka and the peach schnapps.
  • Drop the shot into the glass.
  • Drink and enjoy!
