This recipe is a great way to change up your cocktail routine without having to buy a bunch of new ingredients or learn a difficult recipe. With a couple of easy-to-find ingredients and a quick blend, this frozen cocktail is refreshing and would be extra delicious on a hot day. Using frozen Cola keeps the cocktail cold without diluting your Jack and Coke.

Frozen Jack and Coke Ingredients

Just two main ingredients are needed for this frozen spin on a cocktail classic. They are right in the name of the recipe, but we’re going to go into a little more detail on them here.

  • Whiskey: Jack Daniels is the namesake whiskey for this frozen Jack and Coke recipe. That said, you can use any whiskey that you enjoy the flavor of.
  • Coke: You can also use Diet Coke or another cola that you prefer.
  • Cherries: Optional, for garnish.

  3. Pour and enjoy. Once you get the desired consistency, pour into glasses. Garnish with a cherry or two and enjoy!

Planning Ahead

Since this recipe requires some time in the freezer, you will want to start it plenty of time in advance. If you really like this recipe, make extra Coke ice so that the cubes are on hand whenever you want a frozen Jack Daniels and Coke. Prepare them a few hours, days, or even weeks in advance and just keep them in your freezer.

How to Serve

Serve your Jack and Coke slushie in a can glass or tumbler. Garnish with a cherry on top for a pop of color and flavor. Serve your frozen cocktail with a straw and spoon. Frozen cocktails are best when served cold for obvious reasons, so blend your ingredients just before you’re ready to serve them.

Variations

  • Change up the cola: try Diet Coke, Cherry Coke, or even Pepsi if that’s your go-to soda.
  • Try another whiskey. Use your favorite whiskey to enjoy with Coke.
  • Dilute the drink. Add regular ice to the blender with the other ingredients to dilute the drink a bit. You can also add ice if your Coke cubes aren’t quite frozen solid yet to still get that slushie consistency.
