What is a Mimosa

A traditional mimosa is a classic drink traditionally served in a champagne flute, commonly enjoyed with brunch that combines orange juice and champagne. The oj/champagne duo is universally loved for its ease to consume early in the day and its light carbonation and refreshment.

Pink Mimosa Ingredients

Here are the ingredients that make up pink mimosas! For the full recipe including all measurements, see the recipe card below.

  • Citrus vodka: A flavored vodka that’s infused with the essence of various citrus fruits such as lemon, lime, or orange adds a boozy punch of citrus flavor.
  • Raspberry lemonade: Adds a beautiful pink hue to the mimosa, along with a refreshing balance of sweet and tart flavors that complement the other ingredients.
  • Rosé: A bottle of sparkling rose serves as the fizzy component of the mimosa and adds to the pink color of the drink. Use a fresh and chilled bottle of rosé.
  • Fresh raspberries and lemon slices: Used for garnishing drinks, you can use frozen raspberries but they won’t look as plump and vibrant as fresh berries like in the photos.

Can you make the Pink Mimosa for a crowd? Like in a punch bowl? What would be the amounts if so? Thank you for any response.

    • Nathan Longley says

You could mix the vodka and lemonade in a pitcher, but I would leave out the champagne. Have the bottle sit next to the pitcher, and people can top off their glasses with it. For around 8 servings you couple do 1.5 cups lemonade and a 1 cup of vodka. So 16 servings, 3 cups lemonade, 2 cups vodka. Hope this helps!

  2. Deb says

Do you use Rosé wine or Rosé champagne for the Raspberry lemonade mimosa?

    • Nathan Longley says

We use Rosé champagne. For this we used Corbel Sweet Rosé, but any brand should work! Hope you enjoy!
