A crisp, fall spin on the classic Dirty Martini Recipe, this appletini uses only five ingredients and comes together with a quick shake. Tarte and delicious, this is a martini recipe you can’t live without.

Appletini Ingredients

Five main ingredients plus one for garnish equals the perfect appletini recipe! Read more about the ingredients and what they do for this fruity cocktail.

  • Vodka: In a vodka-forward cocktail like the classic Martini Recipe, a good quality vodka is crucial. The apple flavors take some attention away from the taste of the vodka in this recipe, so a top-shelf vodka isn’t necessary. A mid-level vodka like Tito’s would work well.
  • Simple syrup: Adding just enough sweetness to balance the tartness of the other ingredients, Homemade Simple Syrup is very easy to make and great to have on hand for other cocktail recipes.
  • Apple Schnapps: If you prefer a less boozy drink, replace the apple schnapps with apple juice. You can also use Calvados, which is a brandy that has been distilled from a special kind of apple cider.
  • Apple juice: Keep small bottles of apple juice in your pantry to have handy anytime a craving for an appletini strikes.
  • Triple sec: This orange-flavored liqueur could also be replaced with a higher-end liqueur like Cointreau or Grand Marnier.
  • Green apple slice: This is optional but makes the perfect garnish.
